It’s been over 2 years and, well, not a shred of evidence has been found to suggest that Trump and his campaign colluded with Russia. That’s what this was supposed to be all about. Since then, it has veered way off course to anyone and anything tied to Trump. Now Adam Schiff says they’re widening the investigation to Trump’s personal finances and overseas business transactions of the past.
Meanwhile, the Senate Intel Committee Chair, Richard Burr, says there is no evidence of Trump-Russia collusion. It seems the investigation is no longer about Trump-Russia collusion. Is it just about digging up any dirt they can find on Trump? If so, Democrats are again using the US Intelligence Community to spy on the President for political gain. They’ve already done that before and it’s been widely reported. Here is just one example from Epoch Times that names 5 ways Obama officials spied on Trump.
It looks like Adam Schiff is leading the way to do just that, again. Coincidentally, it’s also been learned that Schiff had met with Fusion GPS Founder, Glenn Simpson in Aspen during July, 2018. This must just be one of the 100,000 or so unlucky coincidences, right? Kinda like when Bill Clinton met Loretta Lynch on the tarmac a few days before Comey gave his infamous she-broke-multiple-laws-but-we-wouldn’t-prosecute final disposition speech.
What an advantage it would be to be able to use the best Intelligence Community assets in the world to spy on your political opponent! You’d be able to counter your opponent’s move before he/she even makes it. Fixing boxing matches is one thing but elections? Democrats, led by Schiff, look to be doing it all over again. Will this witch hunt continue into 2020? It must end, if we are going to have a chance of restoring trust in our DOJ, FBI, and democratic election process. The question remains, though: When will it end and will anyone ever be held accountable for these egregious acts?
